French Language Training Program For Public Servants
Practice French Online (PFOL) is a Canadian virtual language school based in Ottawa, now entering its seventh year of providing high-quality French instruction to federal public service employees.
Our program is tailored to the Public Service Commission’s bilingualism standards, ensuring that federal employees receive the targeted training they need to successfully meet official language requirements.
At PFOL, one-on-one training is fully personalized to address the specific needs of each learner. Whether the goal is to prepare for the oral interaction test, strengthen written expression, or simply gain greater confidence and fluency, our approach offers practical, goal-oriented support that adapts to each student’s schedule.
To maximize results, PFOL instructors integrate interactive platforms and digital tools that engage learners and allow them to track progress effectively. In addition to individualized sessions, we also provide small group courses (2–3 participants), which can be arranged directly through the student’s organization.
We are proud to serve organizations such as DND, RCMP, PCH, DFO-MPO, NRCan/RNCan, ISED, GAC, ECCC, HS, Justice, HC/SC, PMPRB/CEPMB, HRSDC, and SSC.
To help students make an informed decision, we offer a free information session during which employees can learn about our pedagogical approach and curriculum, with no obligation.
